Amateur Consumer Reviews

There are a number of solid professional produced online magazines on the internet that cover consumer reviews. The internet, however, is so vast that virtually anyone can get involved with publishing a consumer review site. This is a good thing as it brings a number of opinions and perspectives to the table that might have otherwise been overlooked by a “slick” online publication. When you read an “amateur” review site such as Honda Parts you are not getting an inferior review. What you are getting is reviews crafted by real people who actually use the products which they are reviewing. With many professional, big budget websites you are getting a ton of reviews by people who often do not use the products they are reviewing. Instead, reviews are crafted based on an amalgamation of other reviews. This is considered a “researched” review. Often, such reviews are generic in their design due to the fact the reviewer is going on second hand information. This would certainly cast suspicion on reviews of Falken Tires, Rota Wheels or anything else that the website is promoting. Obviously, you would be far better off reading reviews that are closer to the opinion of an actual consumer. After all, you want first hand knowledge not second hand!
