There are many restaurants catering food from the various lands and countries. If you are food-savvy and like to relish various dishes of different lands, you can surely enjoy these restaurants.
However, not all of these restaurants excel in providing similar taste of the land they claim to. This is partly because they do not have the exact ingredient or the spices of the place or the accurate recipe to get the accurate flavor. Many restaurants hire the land or state-specific chefs who can guide the cooks to cook for the exact flavor. The spices and herbs, too, are often imported from various places.
For example, to cook exotic Mexican recipes, you may need Paprika or Asadero cheese from the lands of Mexico only. However, if you are importing from the local markets, you will not be able to relish the food, as you would have enjoyed in any restaurant in Mexico. Similarly, Thai chili Peppers are an inevitable part of Thai recipes. The spices and herbs have more to do in Thai recipes than in any other recipe in the world. Almost each and every dish in Spanish recipes need Paprika, Saffron and olive oil as a major ingredient, without which no one can ever think of having a Spanish dish. However, when someone from America wants to have his/her chain of a mediocre type of Spanish restaurant, s/he cannot afford to have all his ingredients imported from Spain. As a result, those who want to savor the real taste of the Spanish food cannot have it residing in America.
